Amina Joy Akai is a Corporate Trainer with a significant record of helping employees improve their performance in their organizations with specific support in developing new skills in employees, maximizing employee retention, managing the learning function, and measuring the results of training programs. She demonstrates coaching skills, creativity, excellent communication and presentation skills.
Amina has a thorough hands-on experience in special needs training between 2002-2009 with the British High Commission, Nigeria and Azerbaijan. Between 2009-2023. She was a training consultant with KVS International Limited and Duchess Naturals Limited .
Amina has managed projects for several organizations amongst which are USAID Measure Evaluation Project, Pfizer Bio medicals, National Primary Health Care Development Agency and its partners, Lufthansa, the Presidency Society for Family Health in Nigeria.
She has a verifiable proven track record in delivering outcomes. A striving, creative hands-on problem solver and optimistic decision decision result oriented individual, with a strong customer service orientation and a commitment to continuous improvement and quality standards.
Amina is an Ex- Council Member of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce. Board Member- University of Abuja's Centre for Entrepreneurship Studies. A trainer-for Small and Medium Enterprises Export Support Services Training for Women in Trade for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth (WIT) project of TFO Canada in collaboration with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2019-2024). Trainer on Disability & Gender Inclusive Technical and Vocational Training (TVET)Giz- Skye Project Abuja. A certified counsellor and a CIPE provisional Trainer.
